External examiner exit meeting for PhD Climate Studies

Today, the External Examiner Exit Meeting for the PhD in Climate Studies programme was convened. The session proved highly productive, encompassing rigorous critical analysis, constructive feedback, and the formulation of strategic direction for the programme.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our External Examiner, Dr. Reeta Rai of Samtse College of Education, for her dedicated time and valuable contributions in reviewing the programme and providing insightful recommendations.

We also thank the President and all members present for their active participation and engagement throughout this session.

Welcoming the ECS 12th Batch

The Department warmly welcomed the 12th Batch of first-year students to the college. The welcome orientation session provided opportunity to familiarize the new students with the college and department, including the academic programmes, faculty members, and various aspects of their academic journey . It also served as a platform for students and faculty to connect, interact, and build a supportive learning environment.

We look forward to accompanying and supporting our students throughout their journey in Environment and Climate Studies.

First batch of Climate Studies PhD scholars graduate from CNR

The country now has homegrown experts trained in climate studies. The first batch of Bhutanese pursuing Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Climate Studies graduated from the College of Natural Resources in Lobesa, Punakha yesterday after completing their respective three-year programmes. The college introduced the PhD programme in Climate Studies in February 2022.
